Julie Rose is the President and Founder of Sweet Hospitality Group. Established in 1986, SHG transformed the Broadway concessions business by introducing a novel and dazzling array of top-quality savories, sweets, and beverages. Since then, Julie has expanded SHG to 26 Broadway and Off-Broadway venues with over 100 employees who enhance the entertainment experience with style, charm, and sophistication. Under Julie’s leadership, Sweet Hospitality Group introduced the specialty drink to Broadway and the ever-popular Show Cup, first seen at The Lion King. In addition to its highly successful concessions business, the company expanded to include a full-service catering division.

An Ohio native, Julie first moved to New York City to pursue a career in music. She is an accomplished pianist, composer, and lyricist who was accepted to and participated in the prestigious BMI Workshop for musical theater writers. She continues to teach piano and has created and taught classes to train children in the art of writing for the theater. Julie is proud to be a Board Member of Open Bar Theatricals, a not for profit theater company whose mission is to promote education by funding professional stage productions that allow artists to grow through critical feedback at public readings and workshops. Julie is thrilled to participate with organizations that train and nurture artists.
