The successful candidate will be have exceptional writing skills and will be able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Harlem School of the Arts offers a summer of fun in the arts for children ages 4-12.
ARTScape Summer Day Camp is an arts experience like no other. Campers enjoy a variety of classes in 4 different art forms: music, dance, theatre,and visual arts.
Over the years, ARTScape has provided a camp experience to over 200 children during the summer months.

Communications / Design Intern

We are looking for talented interns who are interested in investing their time in the rewarding world of the non-profit sector. Unpaid internship opportunities are available in arts administration, marketing and communications, fundraising, and performing arts programming. It’s a great and worthwhile investment in your professional future.

HSA has an immediate need for volunteers to help with:

  • Events at the school – ushers, coat checking, bartenders, servers, hall monitors and crowd control helpers
  • Community outreach – street fairs and concerts
  • General administrative office work (e.g., receptionist, filing, collating, taking attendance for classes, database entry and updating, photocopying, etc.).
