General Dance Information

HSA Dance Ensemble Celebrate Dance SmHSA Dance Ensemble provides opportunities for dancers to achieve their highest level of excellence through rigorous training, performance opportunities and community service. It is a group of our most talented students with ambitions to attend elite arts middle schools, high schools, universities and work professionally as performers. Ages 12-17, some of these talented dancers already attend Laguardia High School, Talent Unlimited and Professional performing Arts School.

ABT Bridge Class To broaden the efforts of the Project Plié initiative and to build stronger ties to ABT’s New York City community, the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School offers a special bridge class, held weekly on Monday nights during the 2015-2016 school year. Young dancers ages 8-11 have the opportunity to study with the ABT JKO School faculty while maintaining strong ties to the studios, schools and community programs in which they are currently enrolled. HSA, one of six official affiliate schools in the world, is honored to have five of its students be the first to experience the debut of ABT’s JKO Bridge Class. https://www.abt.org/education/projectplie/jkobridgeclass/
