Ways to Give

Give Once

Make a One-Time Gift

A single gift, right now, goes directly toward keeping tuition affordable and HSA’s doors open to every young artist who walks through them.

Give Now

Give Monthly

Make a Sustaining Monthly Gift

Monthly gifts give HSA reliable, predictable funding we can count on all year — not just during fundraising season. A sustaining gift often adds up to a bigger annual impact than a single one-time gift, while spreading the cost more comfortably for you.

05 · Tax-Smart Giving

Gifts of Stock

Make a bigger gift, pay less in taxes.

Why Gift Stock Instead of Cash?

Donating appreciated stock, bonds, or mutual funds you’ve held for more than a year is one of the most tax-efficient ways to support HSA’s students and programs. When you give securities directly, you avoid paying federal capital gains tax on the appreciation, and can generally deduct the full fair market value of the gift.

Give more, at no extra cost to you
Deduct the full fair market value on the date of transfer
