HSA Dance immerses students in studying a rich tapestry of ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, and African dance disciplines. Dance students participate in master workshops, performances, and events.
HSA's early childhood dance program offers engaging and developmentally appropriate classes starting at 3 years old, fostering a love for movement and creativity from an early age.
Private lessons provide students an opportunity for study free of distraction to build their artistic skills in areas of practice that may need extra attention.

“The dance department at Harlem School of the Arts changed my life. I attended HSA's Summer dance intensive in 2022 and never left! The teachers are amazing, and the atmosphere is inspiring. It's not just about dance; it's about finding yourself and belonging to a supportive community. I'm grateful for everything this school has given me.
