New Class - Early Childhood Theatre
Playful Performers
Playful Performers is the perfect class for toddlers who love to explore and create! This early childhood theater class blends storytelling, acting, science, and art to engage young minds in a fun, tactile way. With a focus on curiosity, creativity, and confidence, Playful Performers is an excellent way to introduce your toddler to the joys of learning through play and artistic expression. Through imaginative play, children ages 3–5 will discover their creativity, build confidence, and develop new skills in a supportive, interactive environment. Each class is held on Tuesdays at three convenient times: 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM. Additionally, a $35 drop-in option is available, making it easy to try out the class without a long-term commitment. Whether crafting stories, acting out playful scenes, or exploring artistic activities, Playful Performers fosters curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Students, ages 12-17, interested in pursuing a career in the arts would benefit from HSA Prep, which provides accelerated arts training to prepare students for a continued education in the arts.
Ages 2-6 require no assessment for classes; simply choose the class that is the right fit for your child’s age. For dance classes and private music lessons, each student will be given an assessment by the department to determine the appropriate placement level for classes.
Yes. However, for those students who do not have access to an instrument, HSA can provide a list of stores that rent a variety of instruments.
Each semester runs for 16 weeks. Classes generally last between 30 minutes to 2 hours, and students may take as many classes as they like during our 32-week school year.
