Financial aid assistance for families with demonstrated financial need is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. All financial aid applications are processed by an independent company, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.
The online application fee is $27.00. Applications submitted via mail require a $30.00 fee. Financial aid applications for the 2017-18 school year are accepted May 1, 2017 to June 16, 2017. No financial aid applications will be accepted after Friday, June 16, 2017.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for the Harlem School of the Arts for the 2017-2018 school year. Families applying for financial must submit the necessary documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment no later June 16, 2017. Applicants can apply online by clicking the FACTS link below. Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:
• Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
• Copies of your most recent W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
• Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food
Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
Financial Aid applications for the 2017-2018 school year will be available beginning Monday, May 1, 2017.
In order for your application to be considered, a completed registration form along with your financial aid award letter must be submitted no later than August 15, 2017.
Late applications after June 16, 2017 will not be accepted.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will notify applicants in writing of financial aid awards no later than August 15, 2017. Submitting a financial aid application does not guarantee that financial aid will be awarded. Financial Aid applicants will only be allowed to register upon receipt of a financial aid award acceptance letter Any remaining balance is due no later than December 15, 2017.
