Chelsea Roberts Izere
Chelsea Roberts Izere serves as Chief Operating Officer of HBCUvc, a national nonprofit expanding pathways into venture capital and angel investing for students and alumni of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She leads the organization’s strategy, operations, and partnerships to advance access to capital and economic opportunity.
Previously, Chelsea held leadership roles at The Advisory Board Company and Mount Sinai Health System, bringing expertise in healthcare strategy, venture philanthropy, and ecosystem development.
A member of the Harlem School of the Arts Associate Board since 2019, she most recently served on the Gala Planning Committee. Chelsea’s strategic leadership and commitment to expanding opportunity make her a valuable addition to HSA’s Board of Trustees. HSA is proud to welcome Chelsea to its leadership.

Shonari Edwards
Shonari Edwards is a native New Yorker, proud Harlem resident, and graduate of Oberlin College, where he earned degrees in Economics and Music.
With more than a decade of investment banking experience, he brings valuable financial expertise to the Harlem School of the Arts Board of Trustees. A pianist, composer, and vocalist, Shonari also understands the transformative power of arts education.
His unique blend of financial acumen and artistic perspective makes him a strong addition to the Board. Deeply committed to Harlem and the arts, he is dedicated to expanding opportunities for young artists. HSA is proud to welcome him to its leadership.

Chelsea Keyes McDuffie
Chelsea Keyes McDuffie is a strategic communications and brand marketing leader with more than 12 years of experience developing integrated PR and marketing campaigns for leading consumer brands. She currently serves as an Account Director at Lippe Taylor, where she leads communications and strategic partnerships for wellness brands, including Nature Made and MegaFood.
Chelsea has been a member of the Harlem School of the Arts Associate Board since 2019 and has been a dedicated advocate for HSA’s mission. Over the past two years, she has provided pro bono PR counsel and social media support to help elevate the school’s annual gala and expand awareness of its arts education programs.
Her expertise in strategic communications and brand storytelling makes her a valuable addition to HSA’s Board of Trustees. HSA is proud to welcome Chelsea to its leadership.
