Kathleen Adams is currently the Strategic Planning Manager at SapientRazorfish (2015 – Present), Marketing Partner/Strategist for Angel of Harlem (2015 – Present), and the Co-Founder of Momma’s Hip Hop Kitchen (2007- Present). Previous positions include Associate Director of Marketing at BASIS independent Brooklyn, Marketing & Partnership Manager for Fusicology (2012 -2014), and Marketing and Events Manager for Hostos Center for Arts and Culture (2009 -2014). Kathleen received her B.A. in Women Studies and Urban Studies (Architecture) with a minor in Environmental Policy (2010), an M.A. in Urban Studies from Fordam University (2012).

Nour Batyne is Co-Founder and CBDO for Lifesaver, Inc (2018 – Present), Associate Instructor at Columbia University School of Professional Studies (2018 –Present), and Executive Producer and Host of Discruptivist (2017- Present). Previous positions include Program Officer, Officer of Global Centers and Global Development (2013 – 2017), Communications and Outreach Assistant, Columbia Global Centers (2011 – 2013) and Communications Coordinator at Madrasati Initiative (2010). Nour received her M.S. in Non-Profit Management from Columbia University (2019), Bachelors in Cultura, Media, and Communication at the University of Surrey (2009). Other experience includes Mentor for Read Ahead and Volunteer at Free Arts NYC.

Marcie Cleary is Counsel to the Entertainment Group at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Slez, representing clients in the film, television, digital, and book publishing industries. Her clients include actors, on-air personalities, writers, directors, producers and authors. Ms. Cleary has significant experience representing comedians and comedy writers, including major deals with high-profile comedians as well as representing up-and-coming comedians, in connection with deals for stand-up specials, television and digital series, motion pictures, podcasts, and recorded comedy albums. Variety featured Ms. Cleary in the “Up Next” section of the magazine’s 2018 Legal Impact Report. Ms. Cleary is a graduate of New York University (BA) and Yale Law School (JD).

Michael Howard

Michael Howard is a Program Manager on the Dataminr talent acquisition team. Before joining Dataminr, Michael held news content roles at ABC News headquarters and The E.W. Scripps Company. He has held various community leadership roles most recently at Apollo Theater Young Patrons, serving on their steering committee and as a volunteer instructor for Uncommon Schools in New York City.

Chelsea Keyes is currently a Senior Account Executive at Lippe Taylor (2016 -present), representing nationally recognized brands and clients in the beauty industry. Her past positions include being an Assistant Account Executive at Marina Maher Communications (2014 – 2016), working on the COVERGIRL brand. She received her B.A. in PR & Marketing Communications from Simmons College (2014). Chelsea is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a former Emma Bowen Foundation scholar.

Gregory C. Paul is an advisor at Bernstein Private Wealth Management in the New York office where he advises leaders and future leaders to invest with purpose. Prior to Bernstein, Greg was a Business Development Director at Morgan Stanley where he worked closely with ultra-high net worth individuals, private equity sponsors and large family offices.
Greg has a personal passion for the arts, education and mentorship. As a dance enthusiast, he serves as a Steering Committee Member for the Young Patrons’ Circle at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. He is also the Vice President of Belmont Hill School’s Alumni Board and a Director on the Multicultural Alumni Partnership. Greg holds a BA in Financial Economics from Columbia University. In his free time, Greg enjoys playing golf, taking dance classes in New York City and spending quality time with friends and family.

Sarah Perkins

Sarah Perkins is an IT executive with extensive experience in product management, corporate strategy, and operations. Most recently, she served in a global position as the Chief Product Officer of Gusto’s Enterprise Division. Throughout her career, she has overseen global product and engineering teams in Argentina, Germany, India, and the United States. Perkins has held previous roles in product and strategy leadership at EY, UKG, Oracle, HP, and Dell.

When she’s not busy creating exceptional product experiences and facilitating global business innovation and expansion, Perkins is deeply involved in community advocacy and the arts. She is a dedicated champion for girls’ education and empowerment, actively participating in organizations such as the New York Junior League, New York Urban League, and her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. Sarah Perkins takes immense pride in her alma mater, Smith College.

She previously served on the Board of Neighborhood Charter School – Harlem and the Senior Program Coordinator at Community Impact/Columbia University for almost 20 years. She is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia University School of Professional Studies with a degree in non-profit management.

Kersten Stevens Hailed as the “Queen of Sacred Violin” is a talented jazz and gospel violinist. Having opened for President Barack Obama, Ray Charles, performed by request for Denzel Washington, and Regina Carter, Kersten has developed a remarkable career in music as a riveting entertainer.
In addition to her musical talents, Kersten lends her creative abilities as the CEO of Think Suite Media, LLC, a boutique social media consulting firm whose clients include the world famous Apollo Theater and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). Kersten manages the social presence of these global brands and is responsible for nearly 300% followship growth and the fundraising of more than $150K during her tenure.

Kali Stitt is the Lead Program Manager at Black Venture Capital Consortium (BVCC). At BVCC, Kali works to recruit students and build BVCC programs such as:the HBCU Curriculum, BVCC Research Projects, the Internship bootcamp and program. Prior to joining BVCC Kali worked extensively in the fashion and retail industries where she worked in buying and digital Merchandising at Macy’s, consulted for FAO Schwarz, Finish Line, and Ross, and curated partnerships within the industry at Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs. Within her community, Kali serves on the steering committee of the Apollo Young Patrons, the associate board of Harlem School of the Arts and is currently a member of both the Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the New York Chapter of the The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College.

Shakira Washington is a Fashion Technical Designer at Garan, Inc in New York City. Her previous roles include Technical Designer at H.I.S. International in New York City and Technical Designer at The Children’s Place in Secaucus, NJ. Previous volunteer positions are Fundraising Committee Member for Mental Health Association in Passaic County and Five & Five Committee Member at The Children’s Place. Shakira received her B.S. in Fashion Design from Philadelphia University (now Thomas Jefferson University).

Khary Ward

Khary is currently a co-owner of Silver Owl Technologies, LLC and is a Hedge Fund recruitment consultant for White Cap Search.
Khary was formerly the manager of operations at Sarissa Capital Management LP, an activist Hedge Fund based in Greenwich Connecticut. Previously, he was a Relationship Associate at Franklin Templeton Investments where he serviced retail and institutional clients, managing junior portfolio management functions. Khary started his professional career at State Street Corporation. Khary serves on the board of directors of the State University of New York, Plattsburgh College Alumni Association.
Khary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from State University of New York, Plattsburgh College in 2012. As an alumnus of the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, Khary brings a lifelong passion for the arts.
