HSA DANCE: Crisis Stories. Spring 2021

HSA Dance submerges students in Harlem’s rich history of dancing superstars celebrating ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, Hip-Hop and African.
From Josephine Baker to Billy “Bonjangles” Robinson, Harlem has been the home to many amazing dancers and these artists are highlighted throughout our class curricula.

Crisis Stories is a series of self-reflective videos created by HSA Dance Students. These videos explore their artistic journeys and examine the dramatic, emotional, and circumstantial upheaval of black and brown young people during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
